This Policy describes the information process to support OAHJ. OAHJ is committed to protecting your privacy and developing technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Privacy Policy applies to the OAHJ Platform, and governs data collection and usage. By using the OAHJ Platform, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Information OAHJ Collects

To provide you access to the OAHJ Platform, OAHJ must process information about you. The types of information OAHJ collects depends on how you use OAHJ. OAHJ collects personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, home or work address, telephone number and subscription registration information if you are registering as a Healer. OAHJ also collects anonymous demographic information which is not unique to you, such as your ZIP or postal code.

Information and Content You Provide 

OAHJ collects the content, communications and other information you provide when you use OAHJ, including when you subscribe to OAHJ. This can include information in, or about the content you provide (like metadata), such as the location of a photo or the date that a file, video or recording was created, as well as any documents, videos or intellectual property you may share or agree to advertise through OAHJ.

Use of Your Personal Information

OAHJ collects and uses your personal information to operate the OAHJ Platform and deliver the services you have requested. OAHJ also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from OAHJ.

OAHJ collects information about how you use OAHJ, such as the types of content you view or engage with; the features you use; the actions you take; the people or accounts you interact with; and the time, frequency and duration of your activities. For example, OAHJ logs when you're using and have last used OAHJ, and what photos, videos or voice recordings you upload on OAHJ.

OAHJ does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. OAHJ may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party. In addition, OAHJ may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to OAHJ, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

OAHJ does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

The OAHJ Platform and Administration will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on OAHJ or the Platform; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of OAHJ; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of OAHJ, or the public.

Use of Information

OAHJ uses the information OAHJ has collected as described below, and to provide and support OAHJ and related services described in the OAHJ Terms of Use Policy.

Provide, Personalize and Improve OAHJ

OAHJ uses the information OAHJ has to deliver the OAHJ Platform, including to personalize features and content.

Product Research and Development

OAHJ uses the information OAHJ has to develop, test and improve OAHJ, including by conducting surveys and research, and testing and troubleshooting OAHJ, new products and features.

Security of Your Personal Information, Integrity and Promoting Safety

OAHJ secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, and OAHJ secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

OAHJ uses the information OAHJ has to verify accounts and activity, combat harmful conduct, detect and prevent spam and other bad experiences, maintain the integrity of OAHJ. and to promote safety and security. For example, OAHJ uses data when OAHJ has to investigate suspicious activity or violations of our Terms or Policies.

Communication with You

OAHJ uses the information OAHJ has to send you occasional marketing communications, to communicate with you about OAHJ, and to let you know about our Policies and Terms. OAHJ also uses your information to respond to you when you contact us.

New Owner

If the ownership or control of all or part of OAHJ or their assets changes, OAHJ may transfer your information to the new owner.

Law Enforcement or Legal Requests

OAHJ shares information with law enforcement or in response to legal requests in the circumstances outlined in our Terms. 

Managing or Deleting Personal Information

OAHJ provides you with the ability to access, rectify, post and erase your data. OAHJ stores data until it is no longer necessary to provide to OAHJ, or until your account is deleted - whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things like the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs. When you delete your account, OAHJ deletes whatever you have posted, such as your information, articles, videos and recordings, and you won't be able to recover that information later. To delete your account at any time, please contact OAHJ through their website coordinates.

Response to Legal Requests or the Prevention of Harm

OAHJ accesses, preserves and shares your information with regulators, law enforcement or others:

  • In response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if OAHJ has a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside of Canada when OAHJ has a good-faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards.

  • When OAHJ has a good-faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud, unauthorized use of the Product, violations of our Terms or Policies, or other harmful or illegal activity; to protect ourselves (including our rights, property or Product), you or others, including as part of investigations or regulatory inquiries; or to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. For example, if relevant, OAHJ provides information to, and receives information from third-party partners, about the reliability of your account to prevent fraud, abuse and other harmful activity on and off OAHJ.

  • Information OAHJ receives about you (including financial transaction data) can be accessed and preserved for an extended period when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations of possible violations of our Terms or Policies, or otherwise to prevent harm. OAHJ also retains information from accounts disabled for terms violations for at least a year to prevent repeat abuse or other term violations.

Notification of Changes to This Policy

OAHJ will notify you before OAHJ makes changes to this Data Privacy Policy, and will give you the opportunity to review the revised Privacy Policy before you choose to continue using OAHJ.
